Pantone Colour of the Year 2025

The question on every Stylists lips, what will the Pantone colour of the year be!

This year’s chosen colour, Mocha Mousse, is described by Pantone as a “warming, brown hue imbued with richness. It nurtures us with its suggestion of the delectable qualities of chocolate and coffee, answering our desire for comfort.” Far from being flat or purely functional, this soft, earthy tone brings depth and quiet sophistication to interior spaces.

Mocha Mousse repositions brown from a grounded, neutral base to something more refined – a shade that feels both aspirational and comforting. In this image, we’ve incorporated it into the kitchen cabinetry to create a look that’s elegant yet inviting, with a tactile warmth that softens the room without overpowering it.

It’s a versatile shade that can be introduced in more subtle ways too – think soft furnishings, ceramics or painted woodwork. Whether used in bold blocks or smaller accents, Mocha Mousse brings a sense of calm, timelessness and understated luxury to any interior scheme
