A highlight in our stylists’ calendar - Clerkenwell Design Week.
Last week our stylists headed to London to explore the latest in interiors, from emerging trends and innovative materials to fresh colour palettes. Set against a backdrop of historic architecture, the exhibitions showcased a strong focus on contemporary design with sustainability at its core.
Among the highlights: a visit to @egecarpets’ newly updated showroom, a hands-on Jesmonite trinket-making workshop with @craftyjezebels, and a closer look at @woodiouk’s Nordic-designed wood composite sanitaryware. We also explored @solusceramics’ new sustainable surface collection and @gessi_official’s colour-changing shower lights – blending form with function in striking ways.
Experiencing materials and finishes in person offered a renewed appreciation for texture, tone, and detail – elements often missed in digital format. The event gave us plenty to think about and even more to bring back to the studio. We’re heading into summer feeling inspired and ready to put fresh ideas into practice.
